Alfa-Bank IFRS net profit drops 82.5% to 18 bln rbl in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Alfa-Bank group dropped around 82.5% on the year to 17.97 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a report Friday.

The net interest income rose 17% to 108.8 billion rubles, while operating income more than halved to 85.2 billion rubles.

Assets rose 5.3% in January–September to 3.496 trillion rubles as of September 30, while liabilities increased 4.5% to 2.963 trillion rubles.
